The location was great, right near a small river and within walking distance to two pubs where we enjoyed delicious meals. the lounge area was incredibly comfortable and cozy. the room and bathroom were clean and spacious, and the service was excellent. the breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was beautifully cooked. We also appreciated the use of the fridge and other facilities.
There was a slight issue with the drying room not being very effective, especially after a rainy day.

We had a pleasant three nights at Ardlochay Lodge and will definitely go back. The surroundings were very clean and well-maintained, with attention to detail in the features and fittings. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great selection of cereals, fresh and tinned fruit, yogurt, and a special raspberry puree that I couldn't resist having seconds of. The location was also ideal, within walking distance of Killin and two pubs with restaurants. Despite being on a road, it was surprisingly quiet, especially at night, and our room at the back of the house had no noise from the road at all. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
That we had to go out for evening meals as Ardlochay Lodge is a B&B. It would have been convenient, especially in winter, if there had been a microwave available to heat up a pie or other simple meals.

We had a fantastic stay at the charming little b+b in Killin. The hosts, Craig and Carlotta, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We loved exploring Killin, with its stunning river falls and proximity to Loch Lomond. It truly is a hidden gem!
While there were a few drawbacks, such as the cramped feel of the guest rooms and the lack of soundproofing, the surroundings were clean and well-maintained. The breakfast options were impressive, and we particularly enjoyed the raspberry puree with yogurt.
